Exquisite Mistake was the company's interactive exploration of the novel's themes that premiered at the New Orleans Fringe Festival in 2014.

In the show, the audience is cast as Isabel Archer, and told that at some point in the performance, a difficult choice must be made. As a newly orphaned ex-pat in Europe, Isabel is everyone's perfect version of a friend, a lover, a confidant, an accessory, a victim. Provoked and plead with by each character, the audience must pledge their allegiance to one of thier new friends or foes. Exquisite Mistake is a carnival of poor life choices wrapped in the luxury of upper-class indolence, desperation, and desire where love is the deadliest affliction and money the most effective weapon.
