The CalArts School of Theater cordially invites you to the upcoming production of The Portrait of a Lady, directed by Alexis Macnab. Adapted from the novel by Henry James, this is the story of a spirited young woman who makes a terrible mistake.
The Portrait of a Lady will be performed at the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) School of Theater from Thursday - Saturday, March 15 - 17, and Monday - Wednesday, March 19 - 21 at 8pm. Open dress rehearsals will be held Monday - Wednesday, March 12 - 14 at 8pm. Performances will be help in Butler Building 2.
Please note, Portrait of a Lady is a journey piece. The audience will be led along outdoor paths throughout the performance. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear.

We'll be having a by-invitation "open" rehearsal this Friday, February 17th at 9:30pm in Butler Building 2.
Also, we've posted the ensemble's questions for the viewer, generated during our first reflection period, as well as answers to selected questions from some of our repeat salon attendees.

This salon is an open format, installation-style event. "Doors" will open at 9pm and close at 10:00pm. Please feel free to come by any time between those hours and stay or go or return as you desire.
